Water has shaped Sarina Scheidegger's artistic practice for many years. For her performance Ululoszzhhh, she has developed a series of ceramic vessels that are brought to life through water pressure. Depending on the pressure, different tones and melodies emerge, ranging from whispers to howls and screams.
Inspired by the writer Ursula K. Le Guin, Sarina Scheidegger uses these sounds to explore alternative forms of communication and storytelling. No words are needed: the vessels speak for themselves, entering into a dialogue with their surroundings.
