free flow festival: ritual singers 05.06

05 June 2026

What happens when people who may have never met come together in search of a shared sound? Fun, loud and emotional: in Composed Open Singing, composer Asia Ahmetjanova, accompanied and supported by Nuriia Khasenova and Onna Stäheli, invites you to a collective choir experiment. No experience needed —just curiosity and a voice.

You can experience this singing ritual three times during the festival, supported by our caring team and other festival visitors. Each session lasts 60 minutes: 45 minutes of shared exploration through voice, sound, and structure, followed by 15 minutes of performing what has been created in that very moment. The group changes every time, and so does the work. Come once or come back as often as you like.

Composed Open Singing sees singing as a practice that brings people together. We want to discover our authentic voices and experience the power of community. The goal is to invite the audience to become part of the performance —to experience themselves as performers, and to discover creativity not as something individual, but as something shared.
