Nota Bene at Bahnhof Enge

27 November 2023 • Nota Bene Chor

On a gloomy Monday evening in November, a family runs from the streetcar to platform 1 at Enge station. A person sits in the large waiting hall under the artificial tree and watches her. A woman in a business suit strives purposefully toward the nearest cab and suddenly stops: she hears a gentle hum of mixed voices. It reminds her of a shared moment with her grandmother back in Oslo.... She forgets about the cab and sits down next to the person under the artificial tree. The two smile at each other and listen to the melancholic songs from the north.

After the musical interlude of the Nota Bene choir, the woman in the suit goes home and picks up the phone: "Grandma, how are you?"

On the 27th of November the choir made us experience a similar story.
